The pineapple has been associated with fertility for a long time, mainly because it, along with the pine-cone are “reproductive organs” of their respective parent plants but also IVF Babble have helped to raise the symbol of the pineapple to show togetherness, support and friendship on the IVF journey.
If you look for information, or gifts for someone going through fertility treatments, you’ll definitely find lots of pineapple items.
Many also believe that there are also benefits of eating pineapple when going through fertility treatment and embryo transfer due to the bromelain. But overall – this is not why the pineapple is used.
