Crystals for Fertility

Crystals, are something that I have always loved to look at their different apperances and natural beauty, but not something that I have overly looked into for their healing properties.

So when I was gifted this beautiful bracelet from a friend for my fertility journey, I have worn it, every day – maybe not all day, but I’ve worn it.

The seller, over on Etsy, has a list of what the crystals mean too but I’ve also delved a little further 🙂

The bracelet holds a variety of 9 different crystals. And both Numerology and Angel Numbers the number 9 has some wonderful meanings.

The braclet consists of Rose Quartz, Moonstone, Mother Of Pearl, Unakite, Aventurine, Citrine, Soladite, Moss Agate and Amethyst…so lets have a look at what they mean.

Rose Quartz
This is a beautiful pink stone that is said to represent unconditional love. It has a feminine energy, and is said to help bring forgiveness, compassion and help balance emotions. It also helps to remove fears, resentments and anger. It is also said to be a protective stone for pregnancy and childbirth, so you can understand why it is used in fertility jewellery.

Moonstone
These gemstones are great for fertility and are said to bring a calming energy by helping to balance hormons and relieving stress whilst trying to conceive. They help to promote a more regular menstrual cycle too. Not only that its believed to be helpful during labour, aiding contractions and promoting lactation too. Its also refered to as the stone of new beginnings.

Mother Of Pearl
There isn’t much out there for this “stone” with fertility as its generally referred to as “A Gift From The Sea” but is said to boost your abilility to conceive, and ease the pain of childbirth.

Unakite
This gemstone is one of the most well known for fertility and pregnancy. A lot of Doula’s insist on its presense in the delivery room as its said to bring a nurturing energy. It helps balance the reproductive system and helps aid a healthy pregnancy and delivery. They say if you wear it during childbirth it will help keep you calm and centered.

Aventurine
This is said to be the stone of opportunity and good luck. It helps with both fertility and love, aswell as optimism and self-confidence.

Citrine
This was again a gemstone I couldn’t find much about when searching for it from a fertility aspect. It is meant to be good for nausea and morning sickness and ridding of emotional toxins.

Sodalite
This is referred to as the Poets Stone and allows you to say all the things you wish to say in the best way possible. To help balance emotions and feelings of confusion and sensitivity.

Moss Agate
This is for calming and centering, good luck and wellbeing. In Feng Shui it brings the energy of nature into your space.

Amethyst
This helps to magnify the energy of all the other crystals whilst helping turn negative energies into positive ones. It can also beused to help relieve heaches and migranes.
It is believed to offer protection during pregnancy.

Whilst on my journey of resarch to write this post, I also came across some other gemstones which are said to be linked in ways to fertility but aren’t on this bracelet, so I thought I would share those with you too so that you can find the gemstons that work for you.

Aquamarine
This is well known to be protective of mother and baby during pregnancy and is said to encourage a healthy pregnancy. It also provides peace and calmness.

Carnelian
This is regarded as the stone of fertility in many cultures, especially when trying to concieve. It is said to help stimulate hormone production and encourages sexuality.

Flourite
Is meant to be a key fertility crystal in balancing hormones and is said to be great for people with PMS and PCOS.

Do you wear crystals? What was your go-to crystal choice? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
